The DB3B from MEDC is a high-power explosion-proof sounder designed to deliver enhanced functionality and performance, making it a suitable replacement for the previous DB3 model. Certified for use in extreme temperatures from -55°C to +85°C, it features a rugged GRP enclosure with a thermoplastic flare, ensuring a corrosion-free and aesthetically appealing product. Capable of producing up to 122dB at 1m, the DB3B offers a variety of pre-recorded tones and an integral volume control, allowing for customization based on output requirements. The unit provides versatile control options, ensuring compatibility with multiple control methods and PLCs. With a wide range of supply voltages, this sounder can be controlled through polarity reversal, voltage-free contacts, or switching methods. The DB3B also offers a short flare option, providing a high SPL in a compact design.
